HI WORLD !!

This is my first food blog and coming up with travel blogs very very soon...

YOUR TOUNGUE SHOULD ALSO KNOW THAT YOU ARE IN THE CITY OF LAKES UDAIPUR THIS TIME.

Visiting udaipur right after the vaccination can be the best trip ever in one's life.

Waiting for your food order just beside the beautiful blue lake, the sun painting the sky with pink colours and the fresh breeze hugging you. In what other way you can have immense pleasure after getting released from the covid. And then after a few minutes you find this at your table.

Mouthwatering isn't it ?

The Rajasthani thali we had at paadmani restaurant was the perfect dinner for our rat eyes after spending whole day at massive city palace.

Starting with the most common dish of not only rajasthan but the whole india 'dal' taste just like the one at our home..umm then why spend money at restaurant ? Because the 'chutney' with it that u have to mix in dal according to your taste can found nowhere else but only at paadmani even in whole Udaipur.

We ordered three extra bowls of this delicious chutney just to sense what all flavours they have used. Well we found out , you have to go and check it out their only.

Another my favourite was the 'churma'. I had it before few times at my aunt's place but always found it dry. She had convinced me all this time that it is what it is!! Coming to udaipur, i finally discovered, what the right churma is! It was not at all dry and on top of that, the best thing was they added sugar in just the right amount. I haven't eaten anything in my short life that has perfect amount of sweetness. The dessert succeeded in taking my stomach away.

Coming to "baati " which completes the famous Rajasthani delecacies

DAAL BAATI CHURMA . My mother always had complaint that the inside of baati wasn't cooked well everytime she had it. However, this time our whole family were surprised to see my mom's reaction. She ate one after another and filled her up to the chest.

The thing that generally every thaali misses in other north indian regions is that one dish straight from the rajasthani house "Besan Gatte" I personally have never found this dish in any restaurant but here they served it and our stomach was so filled up that we have to take away it. Beleive me this dish is must try. It even smells like rajasthan. It tastes unlike any other dish. One can't compare it's taste with anything.

Last but not the least having "salted lassi" in one go can make hard for you to even get up. Don't forget to give hand to your travel mates to get up.

At last the first thing everyone is going to notice....the hygiene of this place was great. That was the only reason it attracted us. I can literally see the staff working inside the kitchen with gloves and cap. They made their hardwork visible to us. It was the perfect flavoursome place.
